Cookies, web analytics services and social media

Information that can identify you may be stored on your computer. Such information is called cookies. These text files stored on your hard drive allow us to recognize you as registered customers and make it easier for you to use our website. You can examine and delete cookies stored on your computer and generally control your relationship with cookies through your internet browser settings.

Most browsers accept cookies as a standard setting. However, it is possible to configure your browser to reject cookies or require prior confirmation from you. Rejecting cookies may result in your inability to fully utilize all the features of our website.

Third-party cookies

Through advertising partners or advertising networks, we activate advertising messages on other websites. Such advertising partners use so-called third-party cookies that are activated when visiting tiskate.ch and can only be retrieved by the respective advertising partner. These third-party cookies serve to measure results and count advertising campaigns implemented between us and advertising partners. In this context, no personal data is stored, but only the retrieval of tiskate.ch pages through an advertising campaign activated by the advertising partner is recorded. Third-party cookies are temporarily stored cookies that remain stored in your browser for a maximum of 540 days after the last retrieval, after which they automatically expire.

You can examine and delete cookies stored on your computer and generally control your relationship with cookies through your internet browser settings. You can receive more detailed information about this from the manufacturer or through your internet browser’s help function. Please note that gamescollections.ch functionalities may be limited or inaccessible if you do not authorize cookies.

Retargeting

We want to show you only advertising messages that truly interest you. For this reason, on gamescollections.ch we use so-called “retargeting” technology, so that advertising is tailored to your interests. When visiting tiskate.ch, our retargeting partners store temporary cookies on your device through your internet browser. The temporarily stored cookies allow our retargeting partners to recognize visitors to our shop again under a pseudonym and show only advertising messages for products that our visitors are likely to be interested in.

What data is collected?

Temporary cookies allow our retargeting partners to track and store the click path of our visitors under a pseudonym. In this context, only data related to your use of gamescollections.ch is collected (e.g. number of gamescollections.ch page requests, internal search queries, product page requests, login status, order confirmation page request). We do not transmit any personal data to these retargeting partners; however, retargeting partners collect information about the use of our website in order to provide their services. Retargeting partners may combine the information collected from you with data from other websites you have visited and may use such data for their purposes (e.g. for managing advertising on their partner sites). If you have registered with the retargeting partner in question, they may be able to identify you.

How can retargeting be disabled?

If you do not want to receive personalized advertising messages through retargeting, you have one of the following options to object with future effect:

On one hand, as with other third-party cookies, you can manage the use of cookies through your browser settings and, for example, accept the storage of temporary cookies only with your authorization. Please read the “Use of cookies” section about this. Another option for objection is to click on the opt-out link that appears in each of the retargeting advertising media used by our partners. This link is an “i” or the gray name of our service provider on the respective advertising medium. Clicking on the link takes you to our advertising partner’s page where you can disable advertising services. Please note that to disable retargeting, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored on your device through your internet browser. Your objection will therefore only be effective if you use the same internet browser and accept this opt-out cookie without deleting it. If you then want to use another internet browser, please also use one of the two objection options with that browser.

You can delete these cookies through the so-called Google Tag Manager, used by this website, with a single link, to do so click here: Disable Google Analytics. This will give you the ability to opt out of all Google Tag Manager tags through a cookie.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and allow analysis of your use of our website. However, your IP address is first abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area Agreement. The complete IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there only in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of analyzing your use of the site, compiling reports on site activities and providing the website operator with additional services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be linked to other Google data.

Conversion tracking with Facebook's "visitor behavior pixel"

Within our website we use the “visitor behavior pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to be able to measure the effectiveness of online marketing measures. With its help, we can track user behavior after they have viewed a Facebook advertisement and/or clicked on it and subsequently placed an order. In this way we can detect the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, in the sense that we cannot see the personal data of individual users nor link it to a user together with other information.

However, such data is stored and processed by Facebook. In this way, Facebook can track the behavior of users who have clicked on an advertisement in the Facebook member area and have been directed to our site. Using cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer, Facebook can ultimately recognize such users in the Facebook member area and optimize the efficiency of advertising messages, e.g. by offering messages targeted to specific groups, in accordance with Facebook’s data usage directive. This only concerns users who have a Facebook account and are logged into the Facebook member area. Users who are not Facebook members are not affected by such data processing.

You can object to such data processing at the following link: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/
